Amgen is going to build their first Asia plant in Singapore. Here's the link from Amgen.
The current list of Singapore Biotech Companies includes:

... and right next to Malaysia.
I think the Genentech plant cost 290 million and the Roche plant cost 500 million, so if Amgen gets it done for 200 million, that'spretty cheapOLY 1/31/13 par for the course.
